She accommodated orders from family members who in turn shared their delight with a wider circle of relatives and friends. When she adorned cake boxes with a red ribbon, the hobby turned into a business.

Since 1984, when the first store in the USA opened at West Covina, California, superior quality has been a source of corporate pride. Red Ribbon Bakeshop uses only premium ingredients, such as real butter, high-quality cake flour, and its unique Red Ribbon cream.
